Luxury Houseboats

Luxury Houseboats are large houseboats with atleast three bedrooms, sophisticated interiors, exquisite linen, cutlery and crockery, modern squeaky clean, techno toilets with eco waste management systems. The service level is the best you can get with `suited and booted’ service staff always at their hospitable best. All luxury houseboats have a selection of Kerala menu for you to choose from and fruits and snacks are available at all times.

General Amenities include, a large open deck cum lounge area cum dining area, all open to expansive views of the Vembanad Lake with lounge chairs and dining tables, a wall TV, airconditioned bedrooms, large windows in bedrooms, mosquito net, wardrobe, night reading lamps, writing table, toilets with shower cubicles, kitchen with expansive cupboards, fire extinguishers and life jackets. Using the same classification as with hotels, these houseboats are definitely Five star!

Standard Houseboats

Standard Houseboats come in different sizes; one, two , three and four bedroom houseboats. The interiors are more solemn and graceful and provide a local touch rather than a modern feel. The service level is less doctored and more about care and concern. Standard houseboats have a fixed menu plan based on a Kerala cuisine. Fruits and any other eats outside the menu plan carry a reasonable tariff. We suggest you check out the costs before ordering outside the base plan.

General Amenities include an open deck with cushion chairs, a dining table and TV with reasonable views of the Vembanad Lake. Bedrooms have twin and King size beds with mosquito nets, a wardrobe cum dressing table, overhead fans and toilets are squeaky clean with a western closet, a shower area with eco based waste disposal systems. Kitchens have adequate arrangements and are squeaky clean. Life Jackets, fire extinguisher are mandatory and available.

Budget Houseboats

Budget Houseboats also come in various sizes; one, two, three, four and five bedroom houseboats. The interiors are pleasant though the furnishings are so chosen for their inexpensive tariffs rather than high quality. Service levels are at best local and therefore earnest and warm and provide for an interesting interaction with the local people. Food is based on a fixed menu plan adding to the overall no frills charm.

General Amenities include a small deck with a lounge area and a dining area, just about enough space to enjoy the views of the lake without feeling cramped. Bedrooms are smaller in comparison with luxury houseboats and have necessary basic amenities like mosquito nets, twin and king size beds, overhead or pedestal fans, a wardrobe and clean toilets with showers, a western closet and eco based waste disposal systems. Kitchens are small and hence a-la carte ideas are totally out of the question. Fruits are available on prior orders only. Life jackets, fire extinguishers are mandatory and available.
